After La Quinta High lost football head coach Dan Armstrong, a replacement was finally found for next school year’s football season.

Patrick Rivenes ‘04, a former football player for the Blackhawks, will take over the position as a first-year head coach. Rivenes was formerly an assistant coach at Palm Desert High.

He will also be a teacher next school year in the science department at La Quinta High School.
