From your stock normal-looking car, to the most extravagant sports car, to the average person, a car is just a car and nothing else. However, for some people, cars are a way of life, a culture, and a passion. Here at our own campus, there are students who have automotive passion running through their blood.

One of the students fueled with this passion is Francisco ¨Frankie¨ Razo (´19). Razo, along with a couple of his fellow car enthusiasts, created their own car group called ¨Unique Clique¨ and is enrolled in the district’s C.T.E Auto program at Amistad High School. Razo plans to continue his automotive training at UTI and work alongside his father in the automotive industry.

Razo owns a mostly stock 2005 Toyota Tundra that he received as a gift for Christmas. The truck is a white 2005 Toyota Tundra crew cab that has a 4.7-liter V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, making 282 horsepower to the wheels. It also has a four-inch lift kit on 16-inch wheels. Future modifications Razo would like to do to his truck are to upgrade to a cold air intake, replace the exhaust system with a straight pipe exhaust, add offroad Duraflex fenders, and possibly lift the truck a bit more.
