Miguel

In 2004, Miguel was signed by Black Ice, an independent record label. He released his first album, “Young & Free,” in 2006. Black Ice did not release the entire album and only released one single, “Getcha Hands Up.” Miguel later left the label in 2006 and he now self-promotes. This year, Miguel was on the soundtrack for the “Coco,” which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature this year. He sang multiple songs for the album and gained more fans off the success of the soundtrack album. Miguel later released “War & Leisure,” which features many artists such as Kali Uchis, J. Cole, and Rick Ross. Be sure to catch Miguel on Sunday, April 15 and 22.
